Firefly Music Festival – one of the largest camping festivals in North America – celebrated their tenth anniversary year with over 100 phenomenal performances from some of the biggest names in the music world. The festival also delighted music fans around the globe via a brand new livestream partnership with TikTok, the first of its kind at Firefly.
On Thursday, headliner Halsey kicked off the four day weekend, preceded by incredible sets by Jungle, WILLOW, and Gayle on the Firefly Stage. Meanwhile, artists like Jamie XX and 100 gecs created some of the festival’s best dance moments at the Pavilion.
On Friday, guitars prevailed with a highly anticipated reunion headlining set from My Chemical Romance, preceded by a hits-strewn set by Weezer, everyone’s favorite sk8r girl Avril Lavigne, All Time Low, and more at the Firefly Stage. Zedd shut the festival down in style at the Backyard stage, preceded by buzzworthy artists Cordae, Ashnikko, and LSDream.
Saturday welcomed rock heroes Green Day as headliners, leading the crowd through nearly three decades of hits, preceded by momentous performances from Bleachers, Yungblud, and the UK’s Wolf Alice, who won Best Group this year at the Brit Awards. The Backyard stage saw amazing sets from Haim, Isaiah Rashad, Princess Nokia, Benny The Butcher, and more, while up-and-comers Lo Moon, Daisy The Great, Jordana, and Tauk wooed fans at the Treehouse stage.
Sunday saw a next level headlining performance by superstar Dua Lipa, who brought her acclaimed live show to The Woodlands for one of the festival’s most iconic moments. A smattering of pop luminaries played on the Firefly stage before her, including Charli XCX, Conan Gray, and T-Pain. Gryffin closed out the Backyard stage after a highly anticipated set by the one and only Kid Laroi. Meanwhile, Girl Talk made a welcome return to the Philadelphia area at the Pavilion, while critically-lauded Japanese band CHAI closed out the Treehouse stage.
All weekend long, festival goers were treated to amazing DJ sets at The Nest from artists like Wenzday, Speaker Honey, Teddy Beats, Wreckno, Heyz, Disco Lines, Doss, Canabliss, Golf Clap, Amyelle, Kyle Kinch, and more. Firefly 10 also saw the return of the beloved Drag Brunch and the Pride Parade, two new traditions that began last year and are now unmissable parts of the weekend.
As the largest East Coast camping festival, Firefly has earned its reputation as one of the country’s rite-of-passage destinations for music lovers across the U.S. With a similar approach to bringing fans the larger-than-life experiences that helped establish the likes of internationally renowned festivals like Glastonbury and as ‘bucket list’ events, Firefly has grown into one of the biggest, most-beloved music weekends in America. Indeed, Firefly is one of the best music events of the year, with incredible sets from iconic artists, the best food and beverage offerings within the Delaware Valley, DJ sets, spirited drag brunches and a joyful pride parade; unique moments that give Firefly its characteristic sense of fun, flare and community.
